Life Hacks To Make Life Easier

There is nothing I love more than saving money! I am always on the lookout for things that make my life easier, who isn’t right? Add my notorious cheapness to the mix and there you go.  I love searching for clever life hacks and you can always find them on Buzzfeed. So I’ve compiled  a list of my favorites, hope they will be yours as well.

My all-time favorite is baby wipes. They are great for removing stains from clothes as well as removing makeup.

grapes-276070_640Need to chill wine? What is even better than ice is Frozen Grapes. Makes it cold and adds a little something extra.

Shower Curtain Hooks are so cheap, you can buy them at the dollar store and are great for hanging things like belts and purses. Cheap and organized!

Baking Soda is great for alot of things especially keeping your shoes smelling fresh. You can also use it to unclog drains. If you suffer from Acid Reflux, like me, mix it with water to fight pain quickly.

An oldie but a goody is spraying your hairbrush with Hairspray to fight static. You can also use a dryer sheet for removing static from your hair and your clothes.

Hangers are great. You can use them for all sorts of closet organizing. I use them to hang hats and belts. Something great I found was hanging your boots with pant hangers, say what? That is brilliant and FYI I have 13 pairs.

I love pizza, especially the next day. It just gets better but reheating it in the Microwave just sucks. To keep your crust from getting chewy, place it in the microwave with a small glass of water. It really works.

I found this inspired idea at Emilie.com Use sticks of uncooked pasta to light candles so you don’t burn your fingers.

Ever have a bad or weird dream and woke up feeling like you haven’t slept at all? I am the queen of weird, creepy dreams but that’s a story for another day. Drink Apple Juice before bed to have good dreams.

Is your razor getting a little dull? Well, one way to prevent that is to keep it dry. To sharpen it, run across a pair of old jeans.

Beauty Hacks

Cosmo is always my go-to for beauty hacks. So here are a few us ladies really need.

Use a spoon or tape to create the perfect cat eye. You can also use a spoon when applying Mascara to prevent smudges on your upper lid.

Add Saline Solution to Mascara that is drying out to extend a little life. Though it is recommended that you replace it every three months.

Powder you lips before putting your lipstick on. It will make it last longer and plump those lips up more.

Make a gloss that matches your shadow by mixing it with Petroleum Jelly.

To make your liner last longer dust it with eyeshadow.

We spend quite a bit of money on cosmetics and waste so much by throwing it out when it’s down to the bottom. Try cutting your tubes in half to get every last drop.

You should always save money whenever you can and it is amazing how many things you have right in your house that can help. What are your favorite hacks?

I could really use a few of these! Especially the one about using baking soda to unclog drains. I’d never heard of that before. I’ll have to give it a shot!

A fellow refluxer myself I feel your pain. Although baking soda is hard to choke down!
