How To Throw A Party Your Bestie Won’t Forget

We all know how important a best friend can be. They’ll listen to your problems, wipe your tears and laugh with you. Your relationship may just be the best thing that’s ever happened to you.  My bestie moved back to Romania and I miss her terribly.

That’s why it’s important to give back. Of course, your friendship will show her how much you love her, but it’s good to go the extra mile, too. If she has a milestone of some kind or a birthday coming up, why not take the chance to throw her a party? Making that effort will be the perfect way to show her how much she means. Make sure you get it right by considering these points.

When you first start planning, consider what she loves most. Decide which colors you’ll use for decoration, or whether you want to work with a theme. Think about her favorite foods and songs to ensure they make an appearance!Once you’ve decided what she would love, write a menu and playlist. Taking steps to include these things will show her how much she means to you. They’ll also ensure she enjoys herself on the night!

Planning a party for someone else does have added pressures. It’s your responsibility to make sure her favorite people attend! How can you know who she would want there? With a bit of luck, you both have the same friendship group. If not, do a little research. Social media can be a huge help in finding out who her friends are. It can also be a good way to contact any long distance friends.

Don’t make the mistake of creating a group page for the party. Even if the group is private, there’s the risk that she’ll come across it. If you’re contacting guests on social media, make sure to talk to them in private message only. If you have no ideas about who to invite, ask her family members. You could even try to get information out of the party girl. Just make sure to be subtle!

Personal touches at the party could make the night a success. She’s your friend, so why wouldn’t you go that extra mile? A generic party is well and good, but personal touches take things to a new level. You could go as far with this as you like. Why not hang photographs of your friend around the room? You could bake cakes and get photos printed onto those instead. You could even buy some personalized napkins with her name or favorite quote on them!

As well as throwing the party, take the time to ensure your friend has a good time. If you see her on the sidelines, pull her onto the dance floor. She probably won’t need much encouragement, but make sure to check on her every now and again! You could even plan some party games to keep things going. Having a party for your bestie can be fun and easy.
