balancedWhat You Need To Know To Be The Best Balanced You Possible!

Everyone wants to be the best version of themselves that they can possibly be and since the last post I wrote about carving out balance for a more successful life was so popular I knew I had to follow up!,  Unfortunately, human beings have a tendency to revert to what is safe and secure, but this means that it is very easy to become stuck in a rut. Becoming the best version of yourself requires hard work, determination, and balance, but the rewards of a life filled with passion and purpose are there waiting for you. Here are some ways that you can achieve your aims.

Avoid Negative Thoughts

People tend to have a habit of negatively talking themselves down. You can over analyze situations to make yourself come off in the worst possible light. Similarly, you can talk yourself out of trying new things because you are afraid that you won’t be able to do them, or you will end up embarrassing yourself somehow. Silencing your inner critic is one of the only ways you can hope to become the best version of yourself.

Stop Judging Others

People tend to judge others based on their own life experiences, analysing everything through their own unique prism. Everyone seems very quick to judge without considering other people’s own unique situations. Becoming the best and balanced version of yourself involves eliminating negative energy. By being too quick to judge others, you are potentially undermining a person’s self-worth and self-esteem.

Reduce Harmful Influences

There are many harmful influences in our lives that can impair our ability to be our best selves. For example, many people become over reliant on mood-altering substances like drugs and alcohol which end up having negative long-term effects. You may find that you need professional support with these issues, in which case find out more here. The harmful influence in your life could just be a person that is constantly holding you back. Recognize the effect that they are having on you, and take steps to reduce this influence.

Cut Out Fear of Failure

Fear of failure is something that most of us suffer from to some degree. But if you find that this fear is holding you back from being balanced and doing what you want to do, it is time to take some steps. Start by recognizing that failure is something that affects everyone. The most successful people in life have all suffered setbacks at some point in their lives, but it is their ability to keep moving forwards that sets them apart from the crowd.

Stop People Pleasing

This is something that people have probably told you again and again, but it can be extremely difficult to get out of the habit of doing the things that others want of you. If you end up trying to get everyone to like you, you can never hope to be the best version of yourself. It is time to start being selfish and putting yourself first for a change rather than people pleasing.

We all want to be the best we can and that requires a more balanced life. How do you create balance in your life?
